Americas Best Value Inn Yakima

I really enjoy the cleanliness and peace at this location. Rooms are always clean (thank you housekeeping!) and my family and I (family of 4) stay here often times when we come into Yakima! Always a pleasure :)

The beds were comfortable

I ordered a wheelchair access they should not have listed it if it wasn't available. Or they should have offered a discount. The door is very heavy to open hard to get my scooter in. I had to crawl to the bathroom even a small wheelchair wouldn't fit

Located near the freeway and many food options.

The shower did not drain well, and the water pressure was terrible.

The room had a strong offensive odor, the floor was sticky, there was an insect in the shower, and hair in the bed. Oh, and the walls were poorly insulated; sound from other rooms was high. I canceled my reservation and departed.

Very nice staff. clean rooms. Good parking.

Should have notified us no hot breakfast due to COVID. I¿m in wheelchair and eating area is upstairs with no wheelchair access.

It was empty no problems getting a room

The coffee pot was not cleaned out. The tub still had hair all over it. The carpet was grossly dirty sticky. The tile in the send room was broken and every time you walked on it it would come up.

The staff was excellent!

It is not a hotel, it is a motel. It has exterior walkways rather than interior hallways making it a motel. I prefer Quality Inn generally, but this facility is too old. I am old and disabled, there was no elevator, I had to climb the stairs numerous time

Kind of a rougher clientele and location. Older hotel, needs improvements. Lots of noise in parking lot and other rooms.

My husband likes the fact that you can walk out to the parking lot from the room to smoke. There isn't much I like at all except the price.

Tub has black around the drain and in a couple other places. Shower head was a real water saver and barely got you wet. Bathroom smelled of urine. The one chair was old and low to the ground so was not comfortable at all.

Good size refrigerator. Like the sink outside of the bathroom. The plug ins on the lamps are a great idea.

Could hear the person in the room next door snoring. Hard to keep the room warm, but considering it was an outside room and was very cold, we managed fine.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was great too.

Some of the clientele was pretty rough. I wouldn't of felt safe without my husband.

They seemed to get a little confused about the room location requests. As in several rooms were reserved for our party. Everyone got what was asked for expect one two different parties got assigned the same room. The hotel did correct after some confusion

Nothing much

Mostly everything. My room was dirty! I had a garbage that had not been thrown out that had a razor with hairs and tons of tissue paper in there. There was hair shavings in my sink and bath tub and fly nats everywhere in there I was disgusted.

I reserved the room using a bank card but paid cash for the stay. Then my card was charged. After some calls I was reimbursed but still had the overdraft fee that occurred because of the transaction.

In-room amenities: coffe-maker, microwave, refrigerator.

The location and price were great.

Check in said at 3pm, we got there right on time and were told it would be like 10 mins. 10 mins go by and a different employee tell us in the rudest way possible it would be another 30 mins. We had to be somewhere by 4pm needless to say we were late.

I didn't like that the main lighting for the room was from the window because I felt uncomfortable having the drapes pulled and open facing wide open to the parking lot

Great coffee both in the room and the breakfast bar. Great sausage patties! We checked in very late and the clerk was most friendly and helpful.

The area around the hotel is improving, so perhaps a facelift both externally and internally would be appropriate. The hotel met our needs well.
